KEITH!!

On September 11, Alex and I were able to go see one of my absolute favorites in music and oh so fun to listen to....KEITH URBAN! When I bought the tickets I had no idea how very close to Keith we would actually be! It was great because he had a stage that came down the middle of the floor with a smaller stage just in front of us where he sang of few songs. Keith sang ALL of my favorites and played for a good 2 hours! So worth the $50 bucks!

the married life

It took a good long 27 years and a lot of ugly toads before I finally found the right guy for me. Alex and I met last October on a blind date. We talked on the phone for hours before we ever actually went out, and it was so much fun talking on the phone that we were both worried that the other person would be hideously ugly when we met face to face! I had had it with blind dates and dating in general when Deb at the hospital said she had a guy that was a little younger than me, but REALLY, REALLY nice (to make up for the being younger part) that she wanted to set me up with. Okay, okay I decided...one more won't hurt. Can't believed it worked! We got married in July and have had a great first few months with lots of traveling and vacations...but there is always some hard stuff too like work (blah!) and figuring out how each other works and thinks. Guys are weird! Alex is working full time at Boss Industries and I am finishing up ultrasound school in the next month or two and hoping to get a job in a clinic to avoid the life of hospital call! There are so many things that we love about being married, but what we are the most grateful for is our amazing parents, brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews! We both inherited awesome in-laws! My sister Kari told me I should start a blog to share pictures and life so here it goes!
